The key board is much different from my HP Laptop I had. PROs: IBM strength, performance, VeriFace Tech, Dolby Home Theater, Runs pretty cool, Battery Monitor, Linen Look and Sturdy keyboard. CONs: 
Can’t shut off the touch pad, Screen is Dust magnet and too glossy, No MS Works and just Norton’s Anti-Virus software, not IS. Not a good equalizer to adjust the sound, just has pre-sets, Shows ”grease” marks easy, Needs larger cell battery, and has HDD partition weird. So you will have to re-partition your HDD if you want to store stuff with the OS.And The Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 Laptop Computer is an excellent student/secondary/mobile unit,the wireless connection is convienent and works well as does the Veriface security. I replaced the MS Office Pro trial edition with Student/Teacher, otherwise left the rest of included software on it.
