Although Acer Aspire One AOA150-1029 Netbook like a little baby tAlthough Acer Aspire One AOA150-1029 Netbook like a little baby that thin & light netbook that weighs only 2.19 pounds, it is quite fast to start up and shut down. Nice clear screen, no problem with using the keyboard or the ‘left side, right side’ buttons by the trackpad. Websites load fast, played a couple short videos to check it out. If the ‘whirring’ noise I occasionally heard is the cooling fan, it is a complete non-issue, very quiet. Will be using for travel (email, trip planning, movies…) and as an extra laptop in the den at home. I really (really) like ,The Acer Aspire One AOA150-1029 is excellent for surfing the internet, email, some small games,video & audio chat with yahoo and messenger works great.but we don’t recommended for engineering and big gaming tasks

It’s amazing that this little 2 lb jewel is so tiny, yet can do so much and do it so well. I bought it as a secondary/travel computer, along with an external DVD RW drive. Every computer I’ve ever purchased has given me problems with plug-in compatibilities, but this baby has had no such problems; recognized the DVD drive immediately, downloaded the drivers on its own and away we went. Adding software was a total breeze – amazing! Hooked it up to an Acer 22” widescreen hi res LCD monitor, and although it’s a bit tricky in setting up the display preferences, once all the settings were made, the graphics card in the little thing is having no problem at all running the large monitor at a full screen high resolution. Again – amazing! — In short, I highly recommend this tiny little computer for anyone. In fact, it could easily serve as your primary computer, if you’re not crunching astro-physics numbers on it. Otherwise, it does everything else surprisingly well.
