HP Pavilion dv6000 Entertainment Notebook PC combines mobility, power and entertainment in a new design. Get HP, I don’t know what type you will get but when I was customizing the computer parts it gave me a free upgrade on the hard drive from 500GB to 640GB
Dell, they can last longer than HP. My previous HP was the pavilion 6000, and it had so many problems to fix. I regret buying it at first place but my older dell laptops did not gave me problem in my experience. Try other products like asus or sony vaio.
A friend of mine has the same ; and one thing to know is that it get really hot when puting it on your legs ; And The Geforce 7150 Is great compared to My Gma 950 , Lol But it still shiit for gaming
never buy a hp laptop or computer, all of their computers have defect. Hp wont recognize the defect as their problem because the damage comes after the warranty expires . HP laptops and computers just turnoff and never turns on again after the warranty approximately 1.5years of usage .
I have one and It’s still going fine after about 1.5 years of owning it. Everything is still in working condition. Although, I kind of let the hard drive get filled with crap and it’s making it slow, so I plan on reformatting, and when I got it it came with vista, so that also sucks, but none of that is HP’s fault. I will see in another year if the laptop still lives…

I even accidentally tripped over the cord and knocked it off the table while it was open and playing a movie, and it is still living, didn’t even phase it! No major problems so far. DONT get an hp. It may look real nice and have all these features, but most of the time your hp dies just after the warranty and hp won’t do anything. hp’s also overheat so much it can probably burn you if you leave it on your legs too long.Get a dell. If you have a low budget, then get an acer.But if you get an hp, your gonna regret it later on.

This design was a poor design, Hewlett-packard is a Chinese company and this particular model was assembled by handicapped children somewhere in a rice paddy in Bumfuk province.Your fan is failing, the laptop is overheating1 Buy one of those “dust-off” bombs, blow out the fan and get another six or eight months from your dv6910.let the Chinese stick to fortune cookies.
I see that you’ve owned one. You are right about the overheating problem, I’m turning my HP laptop into a $700 room heater. if i could get the fan to work, I’d be thrilled!

It has been running like this normally for the last 3 years, and has only overheated twice. I play Grand Theft Auto and Garry’s Mod on it almost daily, and have had no problems with it at all…It is a good computer that cost me a lot of money, and I love it and will continue to take good care of it.

i have one of these same laptop and i want to connect it to my 32 inch plasma pls i need to know what cable i should use to connect it to the plasma i’ve tried looking everywhere to see what cables i need so pls if you tell me i would really appriciate it
Depends if you have hdmi or s video out. Im not sure about yours, but my hp pavilion has hdmi. If it’s a circular port, it’s s video; a flat looking port is hdmi.
